Report on our monthly humanity inquiry call ...
We held the third of our new form of monthly humanity-inquiry calls on 16 September 2023.
This form of apithologue now has its own structure and unique features of logic. It is interesting how in apithology a different question, requires a distinctive process.
In our third Circle, we maintained the new four-part, three inquiry format as one vessel. Yet, as is often the case, the seed inquiry moved to the next iteration. New content, requests each time, a different quality of holding.
This month we presenced that aspect of self that appears as the impetus of insistence. The voice of guidance that directs the exceptional in a life of fulfilment. The part of you that has purpose; and is not personality, inheritance, upbringing, situation, imposition, conscience or circumstance.
In the words of psychologist James Hillman: “A calling may be postponed, avoided, intermittently missed. It may also possess you completely. Whatever; eventually it will out. It makes its claim. The daimon does not go away.” (1996, p. 8)
Which leads us into asking: What is the nature of eudaimonia and how is it destiny contributive?
This third meeting give us the incentive to extend this inquiry progressively, now the vessel that holds, invites more into the encompassing.
