Report on our monthly humanity inquiry call ...
We held the sixth of our (now not so new) monthly humanity-inquiry calls on 18 December 2023.
In this month's inquiry we moved beyond the unfoldment of personal accomplishment into the place of commencement of practice by the humanity contributive.
There are three composites to this new stepping into in a reveal of the characteristics of the humanity contributive. These are known by the indicia of Enaction. Immersion. Election.
In this context: a) action is contrasted with the 'enaction' that leads to completion, b) involvement is contrasted with an 'immersion' that links futures intricately, and c) selection is contrasted with the 'election' that instigates remarkable outcomes.
The holding of these involves more than a walking away from what is - it involves a walking towards. This occurs even if the exact nature or location of the destination is unknown to the self (or even all others).
Accompanying this unfoldment is the willingness to release the 'pointless, passionless, and purposeless' - as that which would otherwise consume a life lived in contributive willingness.
In the move from reliance on personal talents towards capable doing, we have also noticed an accompanying relinquishment of the acceptance of unassuming harms.
In this context, unassuming means more than 'being without pretension or arrogance'. It means to not attend with assumptions so to preclude due considerations.
Through humanity inquiry practice one will become aware of the harming caused by mere unaware attending. Something then shifts in one's presumption of individually designed difference making.
These are the harms mostly unseen by each person, and so not of concern, personally. A different inquiry, in humanity learning, reveals a knowledge of them intimately.
The unfoldment of this Calling marks a transition from human ability to humanity integrity.
