Report on our monthly humanity inquiry call.
We held the second of our new form of monthly humanity-inquiry calls on 16 August 2023.
These are now called 'Calling Circles' to reflect their format and purpose. They are one form of an apithologue.
In our second Circle, we trialled a new four-part, three inquiry format. Due to the presence of those attending, it went very well. The experienced and novice at apithologues were equally in attendance. Those attending simply did what we do with minimal guidance.
As a result of the call, we also formalised some Etiquettes as guidance for future new arrivals. These are available in the Community - Calling Circle discussion forum.
There is wealth of meaning in the prompted sharings. One observation from this month is how the three inquiry questions work as a personal practice with benefit, yet the design is to be done in community, so there is one voice calling (with many harmonics).
This second meeting will give us the confidence to extend the invite gradually to widen the circle.
Attendees will be invited to subsequent gatherings.
