Calling Circle (March)

Report on our monthly humanity inquiry call ...

We held the ninth in our series of monthly humanity-inquiry calls on 16 March 2024. This call marks a culmination and a new beginning.

In this month's inquiry we arrived from the humility of attentive investigation into the fulfilment of purpose in both ideal and practice.

When we commenced our inquiry into the characteristics of the humanity contributive last year, we already had five years of research into the proclivities of adult generative learning styles.

The traits and indicia that distinguished those who were 'called' to hold questions of humanity learning were indicative and distinctive - and not yet coherent.

In the formation of this Calling Circle we found we needed another form of humanity inquiry (nb: apithology practice already has several). We trialed a new form openly with no expectation of anything more than the experience of a personally beneficial practice.

In this month's Calling Circle the progression co-curated from the place of inception arrived at a location of Fulfilment.

Two things become apparent: 1. there is a simple practice by which each person can discover and integrate their humanity contributive selves, 2. there is a place beyond dissatisfaction and hope in an inquiry form that has a very different premise of commencement.

Let's call these the 'easy' and 'remarkable' findings (discovered so far).

What became apparent in our inquiry into the Eighth Unfoldment is there is place (ie a premise) of inquiry where dissatisfaction 'has never been apparent'. Think about what that means to your expectations for insight ...

Instead of an inquiry being informed by compromise, absence, exclusion, ineffectiveness and past disappointment, there is in the apithology of humanity nurturance, possibilities that arise only in the horizon beyond human knowing.

What this makes possible is (potentially) unfathomable. It's sentiment is contained in the Apithoria: “Apithology learning begins where human knowing ends.” (#3561)

The other appreciation was how by inviting commencement at the Eighth Unfoldment, there is an antidote to the 'hopioid crisis' - where in relying on hope as a method, we will ultimately have to admit we tried our (personally ungenerative) best, just to no effect.

When we participate in generative humanity learning there is a gift - to self, and to knowing more generally.

When this is combined with 'enactment, enablement and enrichment' the effect is the ennoblement of human possibility (and humanity potentiality).

In the quality of new curations, lies gifts beyond our imaginings.
